Lets Play New Vegas Part 22B: Let's go Shopping!!
Another month-long delay....I don't have much excuse for this, other than being generally and generically busy. But still, sitting around complaining won't help, we have to get going with another mini-update.

Let's Play New Vegas Pt 22A: All the little things
A smaller update this time, mainly because I want to break my habit of going a month between each update.

Let's Play New Vegas Part 21: Doing Our Homework.
Sorry for the delay, but the last few months have been fairly hectic for me, so I didn't get the time or mental energy to devote to this blog. I've had the images on my Steam storage for over a month, but writing up what happened wasn't on my mind. I hope to rectify that now, if possible.
Upon discussion with several contributors in person, it was agreed to go with Hardin's plan, even though it meant some...less enjoyable actions.

Let's New Vegas, Part 20: It's almost like locking people into vaults is a bad plan.
The consensus of the group seemed to be 'See what we can do in this place for our own advantage', and that's what we'll be doing today. Be warned, this one is text-heavy, because there's a lot of people to talk to.

Chult Update before we begin
So the final party composition has been discussed and selected. Iskar will be a straight Cleric of Uthgar, god of Barbarians, Animals, Strength, and Places where it's cold. Nothing special here aside from building him for buffing himself and teammates. Gilgamesh will be a Warlock because I keep messing up as a Sorceror, so the combo of better durability and combat ability would be preferable. He'll be acting as the 'party face', so Ao help us all. I'll probably stick with him as a pure Warlock until I qualify for a Gish PrC from one of the mods we're using. Bartleby will head towards the Dragon Warrior PrC, probably with Frenzied Berserker making up any levels after he finishes that. And, after checking the mods and discovering that the awesome Swift Hunter feat has been made weaksauce in adaptation, Lila will be a pure Scout, allowing us much-needed trapfinding abilities on a mobile and stealthy sneak attacking platform.
We should be doing our 'recording' sometime tomorrow, so stay tuned for a post in the next day or two!

Let's Play New Vegas, Part 19: An Inconvenient Troupe
Whoop! Wasn't I supposed to be doing something else on top of all these other games? This time I've only let a month pass between update, so at least I'm improving, right?
Let's Kill Chult And Take It's Stuff: Party Composition
So, We've looked at the voting, and selected our Four party memebers... Now we need to sit down and figure out how we are going to mold these four into a balanced team... and we want YOUR input on what to do with these guys.
Iskar
Iskar was planned as a Cleric/Monk, but we cna take his build in multiple directions. The original planned build was for him to head down the Sacred Fist for a mix of Divine Magic and Monk craziness, but since he is our only Divine character he could easily go straight Cleric, or Cleric/something else.
Gilgamesh
Gilgamesh is our Arcane party member, And also the Party Face. We could have him start as a Sorcerer and use spells to simulate his sword shooting and armor, and possibly class him into a Gish-style Prestige Class. Alternately we could toss him down the Path of the Bard, and give him Snowflake Wardance to take advantage of his high Charisma to get a Deadly character effective with Magic and In melee. An Alternate option would be to make him a Refluffed Warlock or Hexblade and build him that way with some of the PRCs.
Lila
Lila and Curtis were pretty close... But in the end we decided that Lila fit the party better than Curtis did, both in personality and in party role. Lila has a couple ways she could go. On one hand, she could easily work as a Ranger and agument the ranged damage while mixing in spells and allow her to start off the game with her loyal Cat, Faith. Alternately, she could go down a more support based route and go scout, giving us a skill monkey for our group capable of some pretty devstating sneak attacks, potentnially even going into Avenger later on. Another option would be to have her do a bit of both and have her start as a scout, and pick up some extra oomph from the Swift Hunter feat along with some ranger levels, though she wouldn't want to take a Prestige class in this case.
Bartleby
Bartleby... is pretty straightforward. He is is a jerk, and flat out the evil member of the party. Statwise He is first and foremost the parties frontline warrior, the Tank and Slaughterhouse all in one. There are some options on how his build can go. He could go straight Barbarian and get all the awesome features that they get. Alternately he could slip into Frenzined Berseker for more oomph in his rages, or he could jump into Dragon Warrior and sacrifice some of his rage to tap into more of his Draconic power.

Let's Kill Chult And Take It's Stuff: Character Selection
So, it seems we'll be off to the lands of Chult, to cause audience-defined levels of mayhem. In the interest of making the setup process have the 'personal' touch, Sand and I have each put together 5 character concepts, which we're presenting to you as options for the resulting merry band. So, who's in the running?
